No one can prepare enough for this challenging time in a parent’s life. Right here, children believe they are wiser than their parents. They do not have fully developed brains, hormones are setting in, the desire to fit in and society’s influence is enough to make us feel more foolish than wise. Thank God these years are short, but we still need the tools to survive them!
